WithSubtitles Desktop works on Windows and macOS. If the free browser version runs well on your computer, the desktop app will work too. If anything goes wrong, email me within 14 days of purchase. We'll troubleshoot it together, and if we can't fix it, I'll refund you.

The transcription quality is the same, because both versions use the same speech-to-text AI model. So if you like the results in the free version, you'll get the same quality in the desktop app.

Yes. The desktop app works offline, so you don't need an internet connection to use it.

You can transcribe videos in almost 100 languages. The language list is the same as in the free browser version.

The best way is to try the free browser version first. The desktop app keeps the same core workflow, but gives you much faster exports, extra features, and better stability.

There are no strict limits, but the editor is optimized for short-form content. For the smoothest experience, I recommend videos under 10-15 minutes. That said, the desktop version can still export SRT files and full transcripts even for longer videos.
